A senior nursing officer who also serves as a top member of Ghana’s Nurses and Midwives Council has warned all Ghanaian nurses to refrain from shaking their buttocks on social media.
Superiors, she claims, no longer want to see that. She did not say whether there would be consequences for nurses who ignored the warning.
According to her, the majority of twerking Nurses do so in a desperate attempt to attract men to marry them. Regardless, she regards social media buttocks shaking as pointless and a waste of time, effort, and energy.
Mad. Emily Ama Oduro, Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer for Bono Region, announced this during a gathering of Nurses and Midwives in Ghana’s Bono Region.
“Instead of shaking your Buttocks for the world to see, why don’t you use the same social media to educate people on Good health practices?” The Senior Nurse quizzed.
