“We are suffering and you want us to pay Ghs 100 for building National Cathedral”- Prophet Oduro blast Government
We never expected the government to seek for GHC 100 from the people to finish the National Cathedral Project.
The Finance Minister requested Ghanaians to contribute GHC 100 each a month to the initiative during the Mid-Year Budget Review presentation.
Most people were stunned. In light of the country’s present adversity, many who oppose the plan argue that given the country’s high unemployment rate, the government should not have asked for such payments.
Prophet Dr. Kofi Oduro, leader and founder of the Alabaster International Ministry, has issued a straightforward remark on the issue of Ghanaians paying the GHC 100 monthly payments.
While the man of God did not express a stance on the issue, his comments should make every Ghanaian pause.
According to his speech at the Amponsah Memorial Temple of his Church, many Ghanaians are impoverished. Several people are suffering chronic infections with no money to treat them.
Others are on dialysis and unable to pay for treatment, but the nation has not thought of collecting money for them.
Others are orphans who beg for charity on the streets to live, but the nation hasn’t thought of collecting money to assist them.
