A video shows a woman giggling uncontrollably as she compares automobiles parked in a student parking lot at a university to cars parked in a lecturer parking lot at the same university.
The video capturing the disparity has prompted a social media debate over why students treat themselves to luxury automobiles rather than their instructors.
According to reports, the video was shot at the Federal Polytechnic Ede in Osun State.
In the video, cool and costly automobiles were parked in the students’ parking lot, while very old and raggedy cars were placed in the lecturers’ parking lot.
The woman shooting the video could be heard giggling uncontrollably as she compared the two parking lots and praised the pupils for driving nicer vehicles.
Many viewers of the video have suggested that Nigerian instructors are underpaid, which is why they cannot afford the sort of vehicle that their pupils are driving.
