Watch the Sad moment a thief and two men who were chasing him drồwned after jumping into a river
According to a report from Nigeria, a suspected thief was pursued by two guys and then jumped into a river, never to be seen again.
Worse, the two men who pursued him drowned as well; they have not been located living or dead as of press time.
According to reports, the event occurred on Saturday, October 2, as the two guys pursued the robber, who then leaped into the Amilengbe river to avoid being apprehended.
The yell of thief!, thief!! grabbed the attention of some of the individuals gathered at a welder shop along the river, according to an eyewitness testimony supplied to the Nigerian Tribune.
“All of a sudden, the alleged thief rushed into the river and began swimming before the two persons after him could react. However, after a while, we didn’t see them again. We were angry after more than 30 minutes and decided to seek assistance from state fire officials.”
Hassan Adekunle, the Kwara State Fire Service’s Head of Media and Publicity, verified the occurrence, saying:
“We discovered that the suspect stole from Igbo traders in the Amilengbe area and then leapt into the river when he reached the bridge. But, despite several hours of searching, we have yet to find any indication of them, whether they are dead or alive.”
