Watch Sad Video Showing The Wedding Guests and Church Members Dancing Moments Before Their Death

A touching video of Mwingi choir members dancing and singing minutes before the sad tragedy, which happened on On the afternoon of Saturday, December 4, that claimed many of their lives has been published on social media.

The choir members sang and had a good time in what would be their final time ever having a good time together and the video has shattered many hearts online.

The choir members were on their way to a wedding when they perished in the raging waters of the River Enziu. They reportedly arrived at the river’s banks at 10.30 a.m. and disembarked from the bus to wait for the river’s water levels to decrease sufficiently for them to cross.

They practiced the songs and dances they had prepared to perform during the wedding as they waited.

They would eventually press the bus driver to cross the river moments before 1:30 pm, claiming they were running late for the wedding. They assumed it was safe due to the fact that two matatus and tractors had crossed over without incident.

However, before they could reach the other end, the bus collided with a ditch and was swallowed by the waters as witnesses stood helpless.

However, Rescue activities are still underway following the catastrophe, which has left the country in pain, with over 23 bodies recovered from the river.

The Kenyan president, President Uhuru Kenyatta has joined other world leaders in expressing condolences to the bereaved families.

The president wished a speedy recovery to the accident survivors who were brought to Mwingi Level Four Hospital on Sunday, December 5.

His excellency also urged Kenyans to follow the government’s warning against crossing high rivers, particularly during this rainy season.

meanwhile, 15 of the victims have been identified to be from the same family, including Jane Mutua, the daughter of the bridegroom and her three children.
