In a video, the woman, who had most likely been living in the UK for years, planned a trip back to Ghana with her father.
The entire trip was planned to surprise the lady’s mother and daughter, whom she had most likely left behind to seek greener pastures in the United Kingdom.
The returnee, believed to be Bridget, pulled off the surprise flawlessly because her mother had no idea she would see her daughter anytime soon.
Bridget’s father was in charge of making sure everything went as planned and arranging for Bridget’s pick-up from the airport to their home.
The man signaled Bridget to come out of her hiding place after returning home and asking his wife to come out.
Bridget’s mother jumped for joy when she saw her daughter and dashed to her side to embrace her in a tight hug while screaming her daughter’s name.
In the video, an elderly woman can be seen crying after reuniting with her daughter, who has been out of the country for years.
In the video, a young girl can also be seen joining in on the group hug.
Later in the video, Bridget can be seen explaining to the little girl that she was her mother before hugging her.
The little girl, who appeared surprised, could be seen nodding her head in agreement with all of the questions posed to her.
