Vim lady reveals how she fought with a police officer because he let Vice President’s convoy pass whiles she was in traffic

Afia Pokua, often known as Vim Lady, a renowned television anchor, has recalled how she became enraged and clashed with a police officer in the street until Vice President Bawumia arrived with his Convoy.

On Saturday, June 12th, 2021, she spoke on UTV’s Critical Issues, describing how she encountered a long traffic jam on her way to work. The police officers, on the other hand, seemed unconcerned.

She then alighted and approached them, pleading with them to do the right thing. She was told that the delay is due to Vice President Bawumia’s convoy approaching the convoy, and that all vehicles must wait in the traffic until he passes.

According to Vim Lady, this irritated and enraged her even more. She inquired as to whether or not the Vice President is a first-class citizen. She informed them that they are all equal before the law, and that they should end their lengthy discussion and allow traffic to flow.

” I was on my way to work and I saw a long traffic, I then saw police men at the exact location and asked them what was going on, he told me that vice president Bawumia was going to use that road so we have to wait until his convoy passes” she explained.

She went on to say that the cops were not willing to listen to her.

She said, “Until the Vice President’s Convoy arrived in the traffic, I fought with them in the streets.”

The police officers suddenly stopped fighting and saluted the Vice President’s Convoy, she said.

Finally, Vim Lady reminded citizens not to be scared because everyone is equal in the eyes of the law. She was on her way to serve the entire country, but she was delayed by a regular convoy passing by.
