Kwesi Ackon, the Taxi driver who returned $8,400 to a market woman left in his car, has received a present from KiDi.
KiDi, the VGMA Artiste Of The Year, has donated $5,000 to Kwesi Ackon, a Ghanaian Taxi Driver who returned $8,400 to a passenger left in his vehicle.
He is being showered with compliments since the video of the market woman sobbing while thanking him went viral on the internet.
Some well-intentioned journalists have gone out of their way to find him so that the public might thank him for restoring trust in mankind.
Kwesi Ackon was taken into the Okay Fm studios in Accra this afternoon for a public celebration.
KiDi, a musician, was in the studio during Abeiku Santana’s Ekwanso Dwoodwoo program.
The Taxi Driver received $5,000 from the reigning VGMA and 3Music Awards Artiste Of The Year.
OK Frimpong, a businessman, was also in the studio, and he contributed $7,800 to all the man had today.
Vice President of Ghana Bawumia had gifted him with 20,000 GHC earlier in the day.
