(Video) “We reported John Alister to the police in July but they didn’t arrest him”: 2 Momo vendors speak about the houseboy who killed his madam

Two mobile money dealers have confessed that they reported John Alister to the police three months ago.

John Alister is the houseboy who killed his madam, Ahenkan, and ran away with her car and other items.

In two separate interviews with Oheneba Media on YouTube, Richard Freeman and Collins Ayeh said that the 22-year-old accused of killing his boss in Sokoban cheated them after being hired to work as a mobile money vendor in Accra.

Richard Freeman, a former boss of John Alister, claimed in the first interview that he filed a report at the Adjiringanor Police Station in July this year after the young guy he hired stole more than GH10,000 on his first day at work.

Collins Ayeh, who supported his friend’s and colleague’s statement, stated that after the case was filed, he followed up with the police multiple times, stating that the police showed little interest in the subject.

“What bothers me is that the police should have assisted in the arrest of John Alister.” For three months, we received no updates on the case. The only time we heard about John Alister was when word spread on social media that he had murdered a new employer and fled with her stuff.”
The two are overjoyed that John Alister has been apprehended and hope that justice will be done.
