Video: Singer Timaya arrested for allegedly knocking down a lady with his car and running away,
Timaya is said to have been apprehended by police after an alleged hit-and-run incident.
This came after a woman whose sister was knocked down by the musician swore to make him pay for his wrongdoing.
The lady claimed she even reached out to the artist on Instagram, attempting to negotiate an agreement with him as a public figure so that he could at least come to the hospital and care for the lady, who has since been hospitalized, but he instead blocked her.
A video circulating on social media sites shows police officers arresting the singer at his home and transporting him in a car.
He made no protest when he was seen leaving his house quietly and followed the officers.
