Unexpectedly, robbers who ransacked the popular Muindi Mweusi Supermarket in Nairobi, Kenya, were allegedly seen in a viral video returning the stolen goods by themselves.

On the morning of Tuesday, March 21, witnesses claim they saw the group of robbers transferring some of the stolen goods.

On Monday, March 20, amid the anti-state protests, the supermarket was robbed.

A 15 million KSh worth of products and property were lost by us. Among them are various items, TVs, gas cylinders, and mattresses.

They forced open the main door and got inside. More than six persons were detained yesterday, according to Maguli, the retail manager.

Though the reason for the criminals’ decision to return the things is unknown, rumors contend that they may have changed their minds or felt bad about their crimes.

Locals have been debating and talking a lot about the incident; some applaud the robbers for acting morally, while others are still dubious about their motives.
