Georgina Asor Botchwey, 25, died in agony, and the news of her death has left Ghanaians still reeling.
The young woman was raped and killed by a preacher and a chief in Mankessim, resulting in her tragic demise.
Georgina Asor Botchwey’s body was found buried in the room of the Tufohene of Ekumfi Akwakrom in Mankessim, which is in the Central Region.
Along with the body, the victim’s baggage, shoes, and other possessions were also found at the chief’s house.
According to reports, the body has been buried for the last three weeks.
In a report by TV3 Ghana, they claimed to have told police they had killed the person as part of ritualistic money-making process.
In the wake of the sad news, an old video of the late Asor and her two other female friends has been found.
Asor was shown in the brief video walking with her friends and making comments about why she didn’t have a boyfriend.
