The national sports authority, which controls the stadium on behalf of the government, has told notorious reggae dancehall star Shatta Wale and his team to find another venue for his much-anticipated Freedom Wave Festival.
According to unconfirmed reports, the news was sent to the ‘Hajia Bintu’ crooner’s management at 1:45 p.m. yesterday.
Fans and music fans have begun to blame Stonebwoy, his long-time competitor, for this unexpected development, as he is also scheduled to host his event at the same venue in December.
Shatta Wale rushed to Instagram during a live session to convey the terrible news to his fans, urging them to stay tuned for further information on the situation.
