Deborah Vanessa aka Sister Derby has justified her decision to send a birthday message to rapper Medikal even after they had split up.
She had moved on, according to her, thus the message she wrote to her former lover was not based on the impression that she still loves him and wanted to have him back.
Sister Derby raised an eyebrow when she labeled Medikal as a “sweet ex” in her birthday letter to him. Many thought the “Kakalika” hitmaker was interfering in the affairs of the AMG rapper by making a subtle remark about her feelings for him.
Medikal and Sister Derby’s romance was shattered years ago and the two parted ways. Despite the fact that both have moved on, Sister Derby confirmed that everything was OK until Fella Makafui entered the scene.
Sister Derby however claims she has no feelings in hiding for the “Omo aba” singer and that her birthday greeting to Medikal was not intended to woo him back. To her, she did that because Medikal is a public figure and their relationship then was public.
