Video: “I was once a Pallbearer” – Kofi Jamar reveals
Derrick Osei Kuffour, better known by his stage name Kofi Jamar, is a prominent Kumerica artist who is rapidly rising in the music industry.
In a recent interview, he opened up about his previous life and what he did before pursuing a career in music.
According to the artist, people used to mistake him for someone who worked at a morgue, but what he actually does is transport the bodies of the deceased to the mortuary in their coffins.
His job was similar to that of the well-known “dada awu,” persons who used to dance with the bodies of the deceased, but their responsibilities also included the serving of food and the cleaning and releasing of the corpses.
