Video: I stopped my Teaching job to start selling in traffic with GHC50 due to the poor salary – Ghanaian lady shares story
A young Ghanaian lady has shared her story of how she stopped her teaching job to start selling on the street with just GHC50.
Evelyn stated that with her meager salary, she needed to take drastic action before poverty crippled her completely.
The young lady admitted that her WASSCE performance was not stellar, so she was unable to attend university. She, on the other hand, was advised to attend a vocational school, which she did.
She began selling pastries and other food items to support herself after graduation, but business was slow, so she decided to become a pupil’s teacher.
As a teacher, things didn’t work as planned, and she decided to hit the road with only $50 to start a new business.
She revealed that things have been relatively stable and that she is doing fine.
