Captain Smart, a well-known morning show host who now works for Media General, spoke harshly to one of Ghana’s most respected and adored chiefs this morning.
When asked about Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Ashanti King, the vociferous gentleman stated that he was “really getting disappointed.”
Captain Smart’s rantings today on Onua TV were that the country’s ‘nonsense’ is getting worse by the day, but that the country’s elders, such as Otumtour Osei Tutu and former president John Agyekum Kuffour, are taking a bad stance.
He also stated that the Ashanti King is supreme over all and that everyone listens to him when he speaks. He went on to say that former President Kuffour’s silence is also not good.
Finally, he questioned why the government should impose an e-levy while these great men remain unconcerned and silent. He is dissatisfied with Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, John Agyekum Kuffour, and all prominent chiefs who are silent, according to his ranting.
His ambition is for them to have a say in the country’s current events. Captain is hopeful that the president will pay attention to their concerns.
