Tanimola Akande, a well-known Nigerian health professor, has warned people against having “intercourse” in swimming pools, claiming that it is harmful to their health.
Having intercourse underwater, according to Prof Tanimola Akande, might raise the risk of “Sexually Transmitted Infection, vaginal irritations, and Urinary Tract Infection.”
Prof Tanimola Akande has often advised ladies that swimming with guys might easily result in unintended pregnancies if the males ejaculate in the pool.
In an exclusive interview with PUNCH HealthWise, the professor of health stated that having sex in a swimming pool provides both lovers greater pleasure, but it might raise the danger of drowning if the two parties are not good swimmers.
Prof Tanimola Akande further stated that people who participate in public swimming pools are at a higher risk of sexually transmitted infections and other illnesses.
