It is unclear if this is a decision of choice or necessity, but it was evident that theirs was exceedingly low-budget and straightforward.
The bride is seen carrying out the palm wine ceremony, which entails her looking for and bringing the drink to her partner, in a brief video from the event.
After tormenting some visitors, she ultimately found her husband and knelt before the casually dressed husband-to-be to offer him the palm wine.
People approached the pair while the man drank and showered them with money.
He then stood up and walked beside the bride toward a sitting elderly guy. They received marital blessings and guidance there.
The male was heard speaking in Igbo, implying that the occasion featured an Igbo couple.
It was also noted that all visitors who attended the event were dressed informally. There were no bridesmaids on hand for the event. Surprisingly, the wedding site was not highly decorated.
