Patrick Osei Agyemang, better known as Countryman Songo, a Ghanaian sports journalist, has taken his rage out on Ghana’s football governing body.
According to the Ghanaian sports analyst and critic, the Black Stars’ poor performance is the result of the Ghana Football Association’s leadership’s selfish interests, who always field their players for personal gain.
The current Black Stars roster in Cameroon for the 2021 AFCON appears to back up Countryman Songo’s claim that the team is in shambles, with only two points from three first-group matches.
In a video posted on social media by the journalist, Songo went after the heads of GFA, demanding that they step down.
He used unprinted remarks against them to express his anguish after Comoros Island, the AFCON debutants, broke Ghanaians’ hearts in a 3-2 loss to the Islanders.
