The Peoples’ Assembly program, hosted by Captain Smart today, July 25th, 2022 on Onua television, has revealed many secrets about how people are surviving under this government’s hardship.
A traumatized man who shared his story after losing his job broke the hearts of those who attended the program.
Captain Smart, the host, was also seen crying. Philip Oheneba claims to have worked for the GN Bank before the government revoked their license.
He revealed that the government was supposed to pay them an amount after taking over the bank, but it has yet to be paid.
The car he was driving to work and earn money every day had caught fire. His children are now at home because he is unable to pay their tuition.
The GN Bank case, according to the man, is still pending in court. He is pleased that they should issue the final decision so that GN Bank can begin operations and provide employment to people in the country.
It was heartbreaking to hear him describe his life after losing his job. He revealed that he had fled and abandoned his child due to Nana Addo’s hardship.
