The unidentified man admitted in the video that he lied about Maurice Ampaw being his gay partner, claiming that he did so for political reasons.
He disclosed that when he realized the lawyer was against the National Democratic Congress (NDC) before the 2020 elections, he devised a plan to smear his name.
He did it, he claims so that people will not believe Maurice Ampaw when he condemns the NDC’s flagbearer.
He was astounded that Ghanaian bloggers were able to spread such a falsehood that he had concocted without contacting him to learn more.
As a result, he apologized to Maurice Ampaw and asked for his forgiveness.
