A video circulating on social media depicts the moment a 15-year-old girl was married off to a 14-year-old boy in one of Nigeria’s southern states.

According to accounts, the 14-year-old kid was compelled to marry a female a year his senior because he is pregnant with her.

The young newlywed was seen in the popular video with a bulging tummy, which could only suggest she had been pregnant for months.

The bride’s father, who was also present at the wedding, urged his daughter to be cautious as he turned her over to her adolescent fiancé, underlining that she was no longer in her parents’ home.
