Two teenagers stripped nᾰkḝd and paraded on the streets for allegedly stealing GHC100.

The mother of one of the two boys who were stripped naked and humiliated on the streets for alleged shoplifting has pleaded for assistance in getting her son justice.

On Friday, October 29, 2021, at Akuapem Adawso in the Akuapem North Municipality of the Eastern region, an incident occurred.

The two victims, both 14 years old, were accused of stealing Ghc100 as well as a mobile phone.

Augustina Danso could not hold back her tears as she described her son’s horrific treatment.

She told Starr News that despite the fact that the matter had been reported to the Adawso police, it had been transferred to the Akropong District Police Command, the suspects were still allowed to walk freely.

Those who abused her son, she claims, are boasting that “a poor person cannot win a case against a rich one.”

She desires that justice be done.

“Please assist me; I don’t have someone to assist me.” My sister’s child is the one in question. She is deaf and dumb. She is unable to speak. We don’t have the financial means to pursue justice through litigation. They paraded them around the streets naked. They claimed to have stolen only Ghc100, which was taken from them,” Augustina Danso pleaded, her eyes welling up with tears.
