In a video circulating online, a 13-year-old and a 16-year-old saved a man who nearly drowned in a flood in Kumasi. Two teenagers are being praised for bravely risking their lives to help a taxi driver.
In Ohwin, a suburb of Kumasi, excessive rain turned a fluvial stream into a dangerous roadway. The water submerged a cab driver in his late 50s.
In a video posted online, the motorist is seen atop his ruined car. He then leaps towards the banks but is washed away by the river.
Israel Ackah, 13, and Chrisman Antwi, 16, went along the banks to find the taxi driver.
