Beautiful family images of Twena Jonas, a Ghanaian social media phenomenon located in the United States, were all over social media just a few hours ago.
Twene Jonas posed with his lovely siblings in one shot and was seen at a clothing store with a woman believed to be his aunty in another.
These images were shared after he hurled insults at the Asantehene and other chiefs for their roles in galamsey activities that have depleted our water supplies.
Twene Jonas’ sister, has reacted to the viral images.
Twene Jonas is the lady’s younger brother, according to a social media post, and the photos were taken before he moved to the United States of America.
She also echoed her brother’s sentiments, urging the country’s officials to put an end to galamsey and safeguard our waterways.
“Yea Twene Jonas is my little brother. Pictures taken shortly before he relocated to the United State where he calls “Heaven on Earth” Glass Nkwoa. Truth will always defeat lies. Forces of nature will always defeat forces of darkness. Keep our river bodies and our land clean the way our ancestors gave it to us”, she wrote.
After certain traditional chiefs in Bechem cursed him for insulting the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Twene Jonas has been trending for a few days.
In a video, traditional authorities can be seen pouring libation over a slaughtered goat and hurling curses at Twene Jonas.
