Twene Jonas in trouble as Ashanti’ kingdom Nkwantakesehene demands he apologizes to Otumfour (video)
Twene Jonas has gotten herself into trouble.
The Ashanti Kingdom’s Nkwantakesehene has warned Jonas that unless he returns to Ghana and apologizes to the Asantehene, he will face the repercussions of his behavior.
Jonas recently went viral after criticizing the Asantehene for failing to combat galamsey in a video.
According to him, the Asantehene only pretends to be against galamsey in public but secretly supports it. He said that if he was really concerned about combating the threat, he would have ordered his commanders to put a stop to it.
His remarks were misinterpreted as insults, prompting an Asante man to hurl generational curses at him.
In response to the news, Nkwantakesehene Nana Yaw Boakye Ababio said
“Wherever he is, if he is even outside of Ghana, he should get a loan and fly to Ghana to apologize to Asantehene,” Ababio said.
