Local cops in the USA almost arrested Ghanaian socialite Twene Jonas after mistaking him for a madman.
The cops believed he was mentally ill after spotting him dancing on the street, as seen in a video.
Twene Jonas is known for roaming the streets of New York with his phone, using it to express his views on the inequality between Ghana and the West.
He had to quickly explain himself to avoid being taken into custody when confronted by police who were called by a concerned citizen while he was performing one of his dance moves on Facebook Live.
At one point, he even spoke Twi, to convince the officer that he wasn’t a threat and wasn’t mentally challenged.
