Truth Finally Out: Female Teacher In Swedru Methodist School Did Not K!ll The 13 Year-Old Student (More Details)

Contrary to previous reports, it has been revealed that the 13-year-old boy who allegedly died from caning by his teacher did not actually die from the caning.

According to those on the ground, the incident occurred last Wednesday, when the female teacher gave each student two canes after an exercise. The boy was in school on Thursday with no issues but did not come to school on Friday because his mother was getting married on Saturday.

On Sunday evening, the boy’s family informed the school’s head that the boy was not feeling well as a result of the caning. The headmaster visited the boy and sent him to the hospital the same day.

The boy’s body, however, revealed an old mark on his back that was not the result of the teacher. The boy passed away on Tuesday, but his classmates have confirmed that he fell from a tree while playing in school.

The news that he vomited and had marks from caning on his body are not accurate. The Agona West GES directorate, police, staff, and family have met and will continue to meet to investigate the matter further.

It has been reported that news items and social media posts are twisting the matter to cause disaffection for the female teacher and staff of the school. It is important to wait for official notice from the Ghana Police Service before jumping to conclusions. Let us all keep the boy’s family in our thoughts during this difficult time.
