Tosin Idowu, a Nigerian hairstylist, is said to have tied the knot with the man of his dreams, a gay partner who hails from Germany, in a low-key ceremony that had an agbada-inspired motif.
The pair did not take into consideration the hostile comments that they would receive from other users of social media and shared the images on Twitter in particular.
The images show the couple making sweet poses for each other in front of a stunning backdrop, and in some of them they can be seen kissing.
Idowu published the photograph with the following caption on various social media platforms:
