Rory Teasley, a TikTok celebrity, is said to have died after being strangled by his boyfriend.

According to reports, the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office in Pontiac, Michigan, was called to Teasley’s residence just after midnight on Thursday, Jan. 6.

When the police came, Teasley’s boyfriend of ten years, 31-year-old Docquen Jovo Watkins, reported that the TikTok star was “sleeping.” Teasley was not breathing when he arrived at the hospital and was subsequently pronounced dead.

The two allegedly got into a fight over a video game. Watkins then strangled Teasley to death, according to investigators.

“We see it far too often around the country these days when individuals resort to violence over small and unimportant disagreements,” said Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard. There is never a justification for resorting to violence over a quarrel. Those who do so will face consequences. “

Watkins is now being detained without bond at the Oakland County Jail. A probable cause conference has been planned for January 18, and a preliminary examination has been scheduled for January 25.

Teasley has over 222,000 TikTok followers. His final TikTok video makes light of his upcoming 30th birthday. Rory Teasley was only 28 years old.
