Thomas Partey, according to Captain Smart, has threatened to leave the Ghana Black Stars because a senior player brought a Mallam to the camp.
Captain Smart of Onua TV revealed that Partey, the vice captain of Ghana’s senior national football team, has threatened to quit the team due to the uncivilized behavior of the team’s senior player.
On Monday’s Onua Maakye, the fiery journalist discussed Ghana’s Black Stars’ dismal performance at the AFCON 2021 tournament.
On the show, he discussed how a senior player brought his personal spiritualist to the team’s hotel for ritual purposes.
According to Captain Smart, on the eve of each match day, this senior player brings the Mallam to his room for incantations.
He claims that the incantations are sometimes so loud that they disturb teammates whose rooms are closer to this senior player.
Captain Smart stated that Thomas Partey complained to management members, but they did not summon that senior player.
The Arsenal midfielder became so enraged one night that he packed his belongings and prepared to leave camp.
