Captain Smart alleged on his show that President Akufo-Addo was directly involved in unlawful small-scale mining, also known as galamsey.
He said that Akufo-Addo was involved in destroying water sources and couldn’t stop the threat because of this.
When Captain Smart pointed accusing fingers at President Akufo-Addo and called him out for his role in the degradation of the environment while speaking on Onua TV3, he did not mince words.
“I am not going to talk about galamsey after this week. Because President Akufo-Addo is actively involved in galamsey so he can never stop galamsey,” he said
The Bureau of National Investigations(BNI) took Captain Smart, who was born, Blessed Godsbrain Smart, into custody.
