‘They Don’t Have Enough Money To Pay Me’ – Asantewaa On Why She Does Not Promot Songs Of Ghanaian Musicians Anymore (Video)
Asantewaa, a popular TikTok user, has finally revealed why she has stopped endorsing Ghanaian singers on her social media channels.
Due to her large following and the number of views her most-posted videos receive, the influencer was one of those most frequently employed to promote music on the TikTok app back in 2022.
She is also known for using the successful song by Lasmid, “Friday Night,” to promote other songs on TikTok.
She claimed to have a lot of influence over these kinds of music promotions, but she informed Nana Romeo on Accra FM that she no longer participates in them, despite the fact that some of her other coworkers still do.
When asked why she had stopped, Asantewaa said frankly that it was due to the lack of funding for musicians in Ghana.
She continued by saying that she believes her brand has expanded to the point that other Ghanaian musicians who might need her services can no longer afford to pay her.
