“There was a problem with my fallopian tube, that was why I wasn’t able to give birth”- Nana Ama Mcbrown
After giving birth to her first kid in her 40s, Nana Ama Mcbrown opened up for the first time about the circumstances of her delivery.
The actress and anchor of United Showbiz said that she formerly struggled with fibroids during an emotional conversation with Naa Ashokor on the “We Got This Africa” show.
She claimed a medical procedure was done on her to remove the abnormalities in her body, which explains why she had trouble getting pregnant until she just gave birth to Baby Maxine.
Additionally, Nana Ama remembered that prior to beginning her in vitro fertilization, or IVF, operation to eventually become pregnant, she underwent another procedure to remove one of her fallopian tubes that had been damaged.
She emphasized to Naa Ashorkor, who is also a media figure and an actor, that this was the first time she had spoken about her condition because she wanted to ease the suffering of other ladies going through a similar circumstance.
“I am saying for the first time, my tubes one of them was damaged and they had to take it off. I shouldn’t have said this but Naa a lot of women are going through this. Mine, I have gotten a result, I have gotten Maxine and what I wanted,” she said.
