A fresh piece of information concerning the death of Imoro Sheriff, 22, who was with the Ghana Armed Forces band in Sunyani in the Bono Region till his death, shows that the late military officer visited his lover at Ashaiman.
According to ONUA FM, Imoro paid a visit to his lover last Friday and remained with her until 2 a.m., when he decided to leave her residence and return home.
A group of thieves approached him on his way home and demanded his phone, money, and other belongings.
He originally refused to bow to their threats since he was a military guy, but he was eventually stabbed in the arm and stomach, weakening him.
After severely wounding him, the criminals successfully stole his iPhone and fled.
Imoro was left to die in a pool of blood after bleeding between 2:00 and 3:00 a.m. Saturday morning since no one was outdoors at the time of the event.
The perpetrators of the horrible deed have yet to be arrested, however the woman is presently in police custody supporting investigations.
