The real owner(s) of the huge bundle of cash captured in viral video finally identified
it could be recalled that in about a week ago, a video surfaced on social media where some people were captured packing huge bundles of cash in a room.
days after, Appiah Richard, the guy who leaked the video was reported dead after a picture of him sitting on the money also surfaced.
the viral video raised a lot of controversies in the country with a lot of people wanting to know the owner of the money. others speculated that the money belonged to a politician, to be use in the campaign for votes in the general elections.
In a new report sighted, it has been revealed that the money doesn’t belong to any politician but rather to a gold firm identified as Brenley Quartz. The firm withdrew the amount totaling 17 million Ghana cedis from Zenith Bank, in order to make payments to clients.
The gold firm which is located at Osu behind the Main Kingdom books stationery is however a legally registered entity with Registration Number: CS052402019 and 22nd February 2019 as the date of business Incorporation, according to an investigation by the registrar general.
