Afia Pokua, a well-known Ghanaian media personality known as ‘Vim Lady,’ has criticized the assaults on Nana Ama McBrown over the former’s move from Despite Media.
In a Facebook post on Monday, March 13, Vim Lady said that the assaults by certain employees of the aforementioned media agency were not cool and gave the company a negative corporate image.
‘‘The same way me, Abeiku Santana, Kofi Kum Bilson, and Obiyaa left Multimedia to join Despite Media, someone can leave and join another company. It is just a job,’’ she emphasized.
In the article, the multifaceted media diva disclosed that the proprietors of Despite Media are OK with Mcbrown transferring to Onua TV, but certain employees are just ranting and abusing their former colleagues in order to get favor from their superiors.
“The OWNERS OF DESPITE MEDIA are okay with McBrown but the disciples are always shouting to gain favor from the bosses. Did McBrown not increase our viewership too? Or did you give her the acting talent too? Do we see football teams attacking players when they change teams?’’ she quizzed.
This woman encouraged her coworkers to refrain from such behavior since it reflects poorly on the media company.
