Tears Flow As Ghana’s First High Ranking Female Brigadier General Laid To Rest (Photos)
The Ghana Armed Forces, family members, and soldiers could not hold back their tears as they buried the country’s first female high-ranking Brigadier General, Constance Ama Emefa Edjeani-Afenu.
Top Ghana Armed Forces officials, clergy, and family members gathered in her memory. Members of the political community were also present.
Reverend Agyin Asare, one of the lead mourners, took to Facebook to share some heartbreaking photos. Ghana has indeed lost a prominent member of its military.
The appointment of Brigadier General Constance Ama Emefa Edjeani-Afenu was welcomed. This is due to the fact that the position was mostly filled by men. She continued to soar with extreme professionalism and individuality.
Her efforts helped to increase the visibility of the military’s female fraternity. It’s a very sad sight to see her leave this world.
We can only hope for her gentle soul. May her good deeds and service to her mother, Ghana, guide her.
