Several male teachers at Benkum Senior High School in the Eastern Region are being investigated for having sexual relations with female students.
They have also accused their headteacher, Mr. Emmanuel Nyarko, of being the main perpetrator, and he has been interdicted by the Ghana Education Service for investigation.
The headteacher is accused of sleeping with 15 girls in the school and facilitating the transfer of other teachers who were accused of sexual misconduct.
The regional education directorate is overseeing the investigation under the supervision of the Ministry of Education in accordance with the Ghana Education Service’s code of conduct.
