Teachers are the most usḗlḗss people in Ghana, Thank God am not one – Captain Smart
Captain Smart, a popular journalist in Ghana, has thanked God that he is not a teacher. He said this, on his morning show, on the “Onua Maakye” program during a discussion with some female teachers.
They were discussing the country’s poor working conditions for teachers, and the sad experiences these female teachers shared on live television compelled Captain Smart to make that concerning statement.
The female teachers discussed how difficult their lives are, and how it bothers them that GES is unconcerned about their complaints and is more interested in intimidating them.
In one of the videos he showed, there was a garage in China where teachers’ porch cars were parked. In the video, a white man even says he’s lucky he doesn’t teach. On the African continent
Captain Smart added that he considers himself fortunate because he can work for less than 3000 Ghana Cedis while purchasing a shoe worth 6000 cedis.
