Takoradi: 9 months old pregnant woman who was kidnapped found, she came without her pregnancy (video)
The pregnant 29-year-old lady who went missing in Takoradi on September 16 has been rescued at Axim in the Nzema East Municipality, according to reports.
On that Thursday, the victim, Josephine Simons, went for a morning stroll from Amanoo Road to the Paa Grant Roundabout as part of her normal exercise and never returned.
After her mother received a call from an unknown person saying they couldn’t exploit her for what they wanted, a search party was formed.
The suspects also claimed they had dropped her somewhere during the phone call.
According to the relative, she was discovered on September 21st in Axim and is currently undergoing treatment at the Axim Government Hospital.
Meanwhile, the Regional Police Command is still determining whether the woman discovered in Axim is Josephine Panyin Simons.
There appears to be jubilation among Josephine Panyin Simons’ relatives since images claiming she is the one has gone viral.
According to unconfirmed sources, the mother gave birth and the baby’s whereabouts are unclear because she has displayed no signs of pregnancy.
She has yet to reveal what happened before she was discovered in a bush near Axim by a carpenter.
