“Success is a matter of hard work and lots of dedication”- Jackie Appiah

Jackie Appiah is a well-known Ghanaian actress based in Ghana. She is also known as the Queen and Maestro of Ghana’s film industry.

Jackie Appiah Agyemang was born in Canada on December 5, 1983, but went back to Ghana with her parents in 1993.

Jackie, who finished second in the Talent Teens Competition, began acting at the age of 12 in her local church group.

Her professional acting career, however, began when she was cast as Enyonam in the television series Things We Do for Love.

Jackie went on to have a great acting career, including starring in the smash hit film Beyonce opposite notable Ghanaian actors Van Vicker and Nadia Buari, swiftly establishing herself as an A-lister.

In a recent interview she revealed that nothing she has was given to her on a silver platter but she earned it through hard work and determination.
