The Bank of Ghana has cautioned Ghanaians not to use cedi notes as cash flowers.
Mr. Dominic Owusu of the Bank of Ghana said during a news conference that it is prohibited to utilize cedi notes for such purposes.
According to him, cedi notes should only be used for trading, not for creating floral arrangements.
The “money bouquet” practice is alarming and ought to be halted right away, according to the Bank of Ghana.
The most irritating element, according to Mr. Dominic Owusu, is that those who adore money bouquets regularly use the new cedi notes and end up folding them.
