“My dream was to become a soldier and fight for Ghana”- Stonebwoy
Stonebwoy, a multi-award-winning reggae dancehall artist, has written a classy and heartfelt message to commemorate Ghana’s Independence Day.
Stonebwoy paid tribute to the fallen heroes who fought their way out to make Ghana the free country it is today, and admitted how ambitious he was as a child to represent Ghana in the army.
The musician, who realized his dream of representing Ghana on numerous music channels around the world, reveals that the Armed Forces is the key group in which he aspired to raise the country’s flag.
Growing up as a boy, l just wanted to do something for my country, l drew inspiration from the history we learnt at school in social studies about great men and women who laid their lives down for this great nation and others who died in the process..,l could become a soldier to wear the Uniform and take an oath to defend her like l have always dreamt to.
