Residents of Lebowakgomo are outraged after yet another terrible occurrence.
Apparently, about 14:00, a female requested a lift to the Lebowakgomo health centre, and it did not go well.

The woman had to flee before the driver who had offered her a ride attempted to rape her. The lady was able to get out of the car as it was still moving.
The driver wanted to take her with him so he could rape the poor lady, but she managed to flee.
The lady was able to flee with serious injuries and was not raped. Women in Limpopo have been told not to ask strangers for rides.
This type of occurrence has occurred previously, and other victims do not have the opportunity to flee as she did.

Others attempt to flee while the vehicle is moving and die as a result. Residents in Lebowakgomo are advised not to accept rides from strangers.
On her Facebook page, Kiseng Fortunate Mamasonya shared the incident.
“Ladies be careful. This is what occurred to a lady who was attempting to hail a taxi in Lebowakgomo. She was given a lift and arrived at the Lebowakgomo Hospital at 14:00.”
The woman eventually went to the Lebowakgomo police station to report the motorist; however, she was unable to obtain the number plate because she was thrown to the ground and survived.
