Dansah, a 21-year-old model from Obuasi, died a failed attempt to about her pregnancy, leaving her family and friends in shock and sadness in the Ashanti area of the country.
Mary Dansah got pregnant after senior high school and has been pregnant for about 8 mounts yet felt the need to fly it when it was just close to two weeks to delivery.
The young lady, who lived with her mother and a small younger sister, was brought to the hospital one evening after ingesting an unknown chemical in an effort to terminate the pregnancy. Regrettably, she died upon arrival.
Kofi Amankwaa, the to-be father of the unborn baby, gave accounts; “I rushed to the house with my father to the moment we heard the news. I have been taking good care of her ever since I got her pregnant. She appears very happy anytime we meet even though the mother so not really like me. I’m still shocked why she will try an abortion on her own,”
It is still not known what might have triggered the idea to abort the pregnancy. May her soul rest in peace.
