The sister of Tyger Booty, the American IG model, who died in Ghana days ago, wants the autopsy of her sister performed in the United States over the fear of corruption on the part of Ghanaian medical personnel.
Speaking with Asaase Radio’s Kwaku Nhyira-Addo in Accra, The sister (identified as Jullie Williams) sought forensic evidence because she is not going to accept her death was out of accidental drug overdose since the deceased is not into drugs.
Jullie went on to say they’ve been told officials in Ghana are too corrupt. “People have told us Ghanaian officials can be very corrupt,” she said. “We don’t trust Ghana health authorities will do a good job, so we want the autopsy done in the United States. Unfortunately, none of us is from there [Ghana], and we’re not sure what will happen.”
“We would rather have it done in the states where we can trust the system because we don’t know anybody in Ghana. Everybody we talk to believes that something else is going on,” Booty’s sister said.
The Deceased, (known in real life as Dasani Williams) died in the Rayporsh Hotel room in Abelenkpe, Accra after just a few weeks of visiting the country.
Meanwhile, the Tesano Police reports that they have conducted an investigation and sent a report to the Police headquarters.
The Police have informed the public, however, that they would offer an update on the matter once they have gathered sufficient information. Additionally, the US embassy has agreed to assist the family with consular assistance.
