Popular Nigerian songstress, Simisola Ogunleye popularly known as Simi did welcome her first child with her husband, Adekunle Gold just recently and it is a baby girl. the songstress was the first to spread the news to her fans via social media.
Taking to Instagram, the new mother has shared a picture that captures her husband Adekunle Gold with the newborn baby on her page and has got fans all over the world reacting as they shower her with congratulations.
Simi also revealed the day she gave birth in addition to her name and according to her, the new girl whom she named ‘Deja’ was welcomed on the 30th of May 2020.
She captioned the photo shared; “Adejare. It’s like free-falling – this unending, soul snatching, infinite, mind-boggling love. Deja, my baby girl, I got you. I promise. Now and forever. So help me God.❤️5.30.2020″

Little about Simisola Ogunleye
Simi was born in Ojuelegba, a suburb of Surulere, as the last of four children. her parents separated when she was 9 years old, so according to her, She grew up as a tomboy.
She gained prominence in 2014 after releasing “Tiff”, a song that was nominated for Best Alternative Song at The Headies 2015. She recently launched a record label dubbed ‘studio Brat’ in June 2019.
aside from her music career, she is also an actress and her first debut movie was ‘Mokalik‘ which was directed by Kunle Afolayan.
