Because of embarrassment or the fear of being labeled “cheap,” most women in our culture do not engage in such daring activities.
That was not the case for a young girl who just married a young man in a lovely wedding in Nigeria.
They posted the remarks on Facebook, where anybody could read them.
On Facebook, Okello Peters Izuchukwu, a happy Nigerian guy, has recounted how he met and married his wife, Udo Dirim, using the network.
He captioned the photo, which included two images from his first discussion with the lady, “How it started vs How it is going!”
Udo Dirim was the first person to write him a message on Facebook in an attempt to get to know him.
Udo’s approach resulted in marriage, prompting social media users to admire the lady’s confidence.
“It’s funny how we just make actions and we don’t know the trajectory it will take and how our lives can be altered by that,” Joy Ekenyong commented in response to his post.
